Intermediate
Intermediate classes are for students in 5th-8th grade. Intermediate students can pick from eight different dance styles: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Celtic, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.

Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance! It is essential in learning proper dance technique/form and we recommend that all new dancers take ballet. Dancers in Intermediate Ballet are also required to take two additional classes.
Tap
Tap dance is a very musical form of dance in which the dancer taps out rhythms and intricate beats with their feet. Tap dancers are like percussionists with their tap shoes, drumming the floor with combinations of tap steps.
Jazz
Jazz is an upbeat and high energy style of dance taught and performed to jazz or popular dance music. Isolations, stylized steps, big jumps and turns are all a part of jazz dance. In order to take this class the dancer must also be enrolled in Ballet.
Celtic
Celtic, famously known as Riverdance, originated in Ireland in the 18th century. This style is fast, fun, and always a crowd pleaser! In order to take this class the dancer must also be enrolled in Tap.
Lyrical
Lyrical is a blend of ballet and jazz. This style of dance focuses on the emotive quality of dance through music and takes its name from using a songs lyrics to interpret movement. In order to take this class the dancer must also be enrolled in Ballet.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is an exciting and hard hitting class filled with the latest popular dance steps and music. Hip Hop is an umbrella term as there are many styles and techniques of Hip Hop such as locking, funk, krump, house, and whacking. Students will get a taste of several styles and be able to use basic steps to create explosive Hip Hop moves and find their own unique style as a Hip Hop dancer.
Contemporary
Contemporary is a freer, more expressive and grounded style of movement that lifts the restriction from Ballet and has its own technique within it. In order to take this class the dancer must also be enrolled in Ballet.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is an applied dance form that is used in musical productions or stage plays to help tell a story. This class focuses on Broadway history, acting and performing as well as choreography to make the dance performance come to life!
Pointe
Pointe is an extension of ballet class in which dancers wear special shoes to help them dance on their toes. Dancers must meet certain qualifications and be approved by their ballet teacher to enroll in this class.

Tuition fees are for 8 weeks of classes.

+Dancers in Advanced ballet must also take at least two other classes.
Dress Code
Girl dancers will need a burgundy leotard and pink dance tights.
Girls also need pink ballet shoes for ballet, black tap shoes for tap and celtic,
tan jazz shoes for jazz, lyrical sandals or barefoot for lyrical and contemporary, tennis shoes for hip hop.
Boy dancers will need a plain white t-shirt (no logos) and black bottoms (shorts, leggings, sweatpants, etc.).
Boys also need black ballet shoes for ballet, black tap shoes for tap and celtic,
black jazz shoes for jazz, black ballet shoes or bare foot for lyrical and contemporary, tennis shoes for hip hop.
