Staff Bio's

Amanda Knight - Owner
Amanda has the dual role of studio manager and instructor of tumbling/ gymnastics and Kinderdance/Dance Intro. She began her dance and gymnastics training in southern Michigan and continues to further her education through the Dance Masters curriculum. She has choreographed numerous acrobatics and dance pieces. Amanda also co-wrote "The Ties That Bind" an original full length dance production performed in January of 2008 by The Conservatory of Dance.

Jake Knight - Owner
Having trained in Manistee as a full time student of ballet, tap, jazz, he was a principle dancer with the Traverse City Youth Ballet during his school years. He attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for two years on full scholarship and upon graduating was accepted to the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Duncan Noble. Mr. Knight is trained in the Dance Masters of American curriculum taught at the Conservatory and is certified in Ballet and Jazz. He has also performed with the Northern Michigan Ballet Theater of Traverse City, Michigan Dance Collective and recently performed Feral choreographed by Micheal Mizerany. Jake co-wrote "The Ties That Bind" an original full length dance production performed in January of 2008 by The Conservatory of Dance.

Tarah Fancher: Instructor
Tarah trained at The Conservatory of Dance during her school years in ballet, tap and jazz. She has been dancing for 17 years and has completed level 1 of Dance Masters of America Teacher Training. After graduating high school she was hired by Disney to work as one of their famous princesses. She spent a full year performing and continues to perform twice a year at Disney.  Tarah has choreographed for the Drama department at the Manistee High School and is also working with the Manistee High School dance team as manager and choreographer.
